Responding to a need in the Caribbean for believers to gain a stronger foundation in the
Word of God along with the desire of many pastors and church leaders to obtain quality
leadership training, City On A Hill, Inc. has begun to establish City of Light Bible
and Leadership Institutes throughout the Caribbean. We have sought and obtained
affiliation with International Victory Bible Institute in Tulsa, Oklahoma in order to use
their curriculum. This curriculum involves intensive Bible studies under a proficient and
anointed faculty enhanced with opportunities for practical ministry experience for each
student. There is also an emphasis on development of sound discipline and integrity in
the student’s personal life
City of Light Bible and Leadership Institutes offer the best way to acquire sound
Biblical principles of leadership by presenting material in a concentrated form. Learning
will come not only through traditional classroom lecture but also through assigned
projects involving the community, the local churches and classroom participation in
group projects. This allows for putting newly obtained truths into action and practical
real life application.
The courses offered are well balanced and practical and are designed to give the student
a stronger foundation of biblical truths, as well as offering the mature believer an
opportunity to grow more in knowledge and understanding of the Word. In addition,
there are courses on leadership training and skills to broaden the impact of the local
body. A second level of courses provides more hands on training for those called to full
time ministry. All this study along with practical application provides a complete
approach to raising up and empowering Christian leaders.
These institutes exist for the sole purpose of bringing honor and glory to our Lord by
providing strong foundational teaching in the Word of God along with leadership
building skills that will result in releasing more qualified, effective laborers for the
harvest.
