What We Believe

The Scriptures.
The Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God.
(2 Tim 3:15-17; 1 Thess 2:13; 2 Pet1:21)

One True God.
God has revealed Himself as eternally existent in three persons:
Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Deut 6:4; Luke 3:22; John 14:12, 16, 28;
1Cor 15:24-28)

The Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ.
In Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form. ( Col 2:9)
The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact
representation of his being. (Heb 1:3)
Jesus is the eternal Son of God who was with God
and was God in the beginning. (John 1:1-3)
He was conceived by the Holy Ghost and born of the virgin Mary.
(Matt 1:23; Luke 1:35)

The Fall of Man and God's Redemptive Plan
All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)
Salvation is found in no one else but the Lord Jesus Christ, for there is
no other name under heaven given by which men must be saved.
(Acts 4:12)
Man is saved by grace, through faith, not by His own efforts
but by a gift from God. (Eph. 2:8)

Present Day Work of the Holy Spirit.
To convict the world of guilt in regard to sin,
righteousness and judgment. (John 16:8)
To empower men to witness and confirm the Word with signs.
(Mark 16:17-20; Acts 1:8; 4:29-31; Heb 2:3, 4)

Return of The Lord.
...this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall come in like
manner as you have seen Him go into heaven (Act 1:11) ...the dead in Christ
shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together
with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air...(IThess 4:16-17.

The Unity of All Believers.
In Christ we who are many form one body, and each member
belongs to all the others. (Rom 12:5)
For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body. (1Cor 12:12)
